Don't touch that dial-up
Thanks to a little music-related Internet activity, a badnwidth cap was exceeded, and the ADSL chez Trouser and Skirt has slowed to dial-up speed.
I don't remember when we had dial-up. I know we did at some point, but it was so long ago!
So until we get our new month's quota, I'm avoiding anything online at home. And thinking about how really, really patient people with dial-up are.

The extra time will give you more time to enjoy your birthday presents though - there's always a silver lining to everything. Happy birthday for yesterday.
We just got broadband last week. I'm scared to check our usage. I think it's lucky we only have George junior every other week, cos he's addicted to freeonlinegames.com
Before we got Broadband, I kept telling the boy that I was perfectly content with dial-up. Now I find myself complaining about download times even with Broadband speeds.
